I Need To Learn When to Shut Up

I've been reading the last couple of posts and I guess I'm still not clear and I'm also pretty sure I sound like a total bitch which, believe me, I am not.

I guess I am just trying to say I've got no patience for the perpetual victim type people. You know the type, right? Nothing is ever their fault and they are just devastated over it. "I got an F because the teacher's a bitch." "I didn't get the job because I'm overweight." "I burnt my self by spilling my coffee because I didn't know it was hot." Those people disturb my peace greatly. That's all I'm trying to say.

Maybe tomorrow will be a shiny, happy blog. Today it's fucking snowing. Again.

I think you make perfect sense, and your bitchiness is a large part of your charm. :)

I'm fat. It's my fault and it's always been my fault. It would be LOVELY to blame it on society (you FORCED me to eat those chocolates... and potato chips... and ice cream... and...) but I don't have it in me to think that crooked.

I'm also short. THAT'S not my fault, dammit!

I'm so sick of the "victims". Take some responsibility for your actions for pete's sake! There are some things where people are the victims--but, in my profession and with my own children, I've seen them rise above it, accept it and make lemonade out of lemons. That is what is needed--instead of everyone wanting someone else to bail them out!

I agree with you on that one - the victim attitude is annoying. Take responsibility for yourself. But still, sometimes it can be justified. I mean, some people genuinely can't lose weight, stuff like that. So it's hard to know where to draw the line.

I was wondering who all the clarifications were *for*. Besides, I told you, you're not bitchy, you're a common sense revolution.

For what it isn't worth, I agree with you, mom.

But then, I'm an asshole.

"I'm also pretty sure I sound like a total bitch which, believe me, I am not." Either way this comment could be debatable!
